Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Bengaluru: Assistance upon arrival at Bengaluru International Airport having cleared Customs and Immigration then transferred to your hotel for check-in, rest of the day relaxation. There is overnight stay in Bengaluru.

Day 2: Bengaluru – Mysore: This morning after breakfast you will proceed for a half-day city tour of Bengaluru City visiting Palace of Tippu Sultan, the Bull Temple, the Indian Institute of Science, Vidhan Soudha, a granite built structure in Dravidian style, and the 240-acre/100-hectare Lal Bagh botanical garden, with pools, terraces, fountains, trees and herbs. In the afternoon transfer to Mysore that takes around 3 hrs drive. Mysore is cooler than the coastal cities that are located in the hill region of southwestern India. Having arrived check in at your hotel and relaxation for the day. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 3: In Mysore: This morning after breakfast you will proceed for a half-day city tour of Mysore City visiting Nandi Bull that is carved from solid stone. It is a 2,000-year-old ancient Hindu temple then visit to Brindavan Gardens in the evening. There is overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 4: Mysore -Bengaluru – Kochi (Cochin): This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Bengaluru airport to board flight to Cochin. Assistance upon arrival then transfer to your hotel for check-in. Kochi is the happening and city, blessed with international airport and good infrastructure that make it the ideal gateway to Kerala.  Cochin became the first port of call for Arabs, Chinese and Europeans since 1341, after being hit by massive floods and known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” When foreign merchants sailed here for barter. There is overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 5: In Kochi (Cochin): This morning after breakfast you will proceed for a half-day city tour of Cochin City starting at the harbor near Vasco da Gama Square, where you can watch fishermen hoisting their catch from the cantilevered Chinese fishing nets that line the shore, then visit to St. Francis Church and Peter Celli Street to explore local shops before you drifting down to Bastion Street to see Santa Cruz Cathedral. After that visit Koder House that was built in 1808 by Jewish patriarch Samuel Koder. The architecture is the good example of Indo-European style, developed in Cochin. Koder House is still occupied, so you’ll have to appreciate it from outside. On the same road you can see the beautiful 19th-century mansion, Pierce Leslie Bungalow that reflects Portuguese, Dutch and local architecture influences. In the evening you may enjoy the Kathakali Dance Show. There is overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 6: Cochin – Kumarakom: Today after breakfast you will be transferred to Kumarakom. Having arrived check-in at your hotel and relaxation for the day. There is overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 7: Kumarakom – Alleppey: This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Alleppey to board houseboat and enjoy backwater cruise overnight. The backwater destination of Kumarakom on the banks of Vernbanad Lake provides beautiful views of coconut groves, mangroves and paddy fields. You will also get acquainted with traditional crafts, boats and canoes on your way to Alleppey that is popularly called the Venice of the East. Step down from your houseboat and try the traditional seafood of Kerala. There is overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 8: Alleppey –Cochin: Today after breakfast you will step down from your houseboat and transferred to Cochin airport to board flight for the next destination.
