Uttrakhand: Uttarakhand is a hill region situated in North India. Mirik: Mirik is an idyllic hill station located at an altitude of 1767 m, nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling. It is 49 kms from Darjeeling. Beautiful landscaped gardens, tea estates, orange and cardamom plantations, boating facilities, easy accessibility etc.

Kalimpong: It is a small hill station between Siliguri and Gangtok. The swift flowing Teesta river runs by the side of the road adding to the beauty of the scenery. The name, Kalimpong, has three different origins. Kalimpong has several monasteries and also a Kali temple. The Tibetan Monastery and curio center and Dr Graham’s home are important tour stops.

Lava: It is not a sightseeing destination rather a natural destination situated at an altitude of 7200 feet, and around 32 km east of Kalimpong. It is famous for its proximity to the Neora Valley National Park and beautiful view of the Jelep La and Rechi La passes. There are two sunset points named Ghanti Dara and Tiffin Dara (Dara means top of the hill) apart from Lava Monastery. There is Chhangey Falls situated at a distance of 12 kilometers worth a visit.

Lolegaon- The small town is located at a distance of 12 km from Lava at an altitude of 5,500 ft. A spectacular view of the Himalayan snow will take you to a different world. Loleygaon offers panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga. This is quiet, cool and serene destination yet to be commercialized. There is nearby hilltop Jhandi Dara offers a beautiful view at sunrise.
