Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Cochin / Munnar: (135 km / 4 hrs): Assistance upon arrival atCochin then transfer to Munnar. Having arrived Munnar, check in at the hotel and relaxation for some time. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay in Munnar hotel.

Day 2: In Munnar : Today after breakfast, enjoy local sight seeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see rare mountain goats also called Nilgiri Tahr, Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and local market etc. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay at Munnar hotel.

Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady (110 km / 3.5 hrs): Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Having arrived, check in at hotel and relaxation for some time then enjoy free time for your own activities or wildlife cruise (optional). Rest of the day free at leisure. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: In Thekkady: Today you have an option of taking an early morning wildlife cruise in Periyar Sanctuary. Later return to the hotel. After breakfast day free at leisure for own activities. There is overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom (130 km / 4 hrs): In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel then transfer to Kumarakom. Having arrived check in at hotel / resort and relaxation for some time. Rest of the day free for own activities. There is overnight stay in hotel / resort.

Day 6: In Houseboat: Today after breakfast, check out of the hotel / resort and transfer to jetty to check into the houseboat to enjoy houseboat sailing and witnessing the backwaters of Kerala. There is overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 7: Alleppey – Cochin (95 km / 2.5 hrs): Today after breakfast, check out of the houseboat and drive toCochin. Having arrived, check in at the hotel and relaxation for some time. Later enjoy sightseeing ofCochin visiting Dutch palace, St. Francis church, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets, rest of the day free at leisure. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Depart Cochin: Today enjoy leisurely breakfast at hotel and spend some relaxed time at hotel till afternoon then check out and transfer to rail station / airport as per the schedule for your onward journey. The trip ends.
